Create your best future and join Westpac as a Solution Designer. What’s the role? We’re on the lookout for a talented Full Stack Solution Designer to join Westpac. You’ll be based in Sydney, working full-time in a hybrid setup. In this role, you’ll design and deliver scalable, secure enterprise solutions that make a real impact. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead technical design, and ensure our systems are robust, efficient, and future-ready. If you love solving complex problems and creating elegant solutions, this is your chance to shine. What do I need? Strong background in UI and API development, design, modelling, and architecture. Deep expertise in Swagger/Open API standards and best practices. Proven ability to build and implement Micro Front Ends and Micro Services. Skilled in SQL and familiar with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including Aurora, MySQL, and DynamoDB. Solid understanding of governance, security, and privacy principles, with experience in payment systems and workflows being advantageous. Excellent communication skills for presenting complex design concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Additional strengths include experience with AWS cloud platforms, Agile methodologies, and standards such as ISO, JSON, XML, and relational models. Why join us?
