JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer with a strong background in both Java and Angular to join our dynamic team in Philadelphia. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex web applications, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with a passion for technology and a proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 12+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
  • 5+ years of experience with Angular (version 8+ preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and related technologies (e.g., Spring MVC, Spring Data).
  • Solid understanding of Angular architecture, component-based development, and best practices.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with database development, including relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, Karma).
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be local to Philadelphia, PA.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
