JOB SUMMARY:

As a UI Developer, you will develop and maintain web sites and web applications including the design, build, and implementation of new webpages and sites, integrating sites with back-end applications, migrating legacy applications to the web and performing day-to-day administration of the organizations Web portfolio. The Web Developer is also responsible for contact with vendor support and providing level 3 support for the Help Desk.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and two years experience in Web Development or a related function OR
• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and four years experience in Web Development or a related function OR
• High School Diploma or GED and six years experience in Web Development or a related function

• Maintain and document all end user access, login and password identification.
• Create, configure and maintain standard as well as custom websites within the Walsworth internal and external environments.
• Perform system level maintenance and request external vendor support when necessary.
• Record, track, and document all system issues and resolution.
• Coordinate with web site departments and content creators from across the organization.
• Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users, and unit leaders.
• Coordinate with Networking IT staff for all updates, additions required.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure IT staff for all software updates for both system and application.
• Lead the implementation of new web development.
• Conduct research into current and emerging web technologies and issues in support of web development efforts.
• Ensure security of all web sites and related applications.
• Work with database administrator to design, develop, and update databases as they relate to web applications.
• Provide assistance, recommendations, and support to internal and external customers.
