Nightforce Optics is seeking a skilled Full-Stack Web Developer to join our creative Marketing team and help bring our brand to life online. Known for our precision optics, we extend the same commitment to quality across every digital touchpoint. In this role you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing our website to deliver fast, seamless, and engaging user experience.
You’ll work on delivering smooth, high performance web experiences from front to back, combining clean, responsive interfaces with reliable, scalable service-side logic. Whether it’s implementing product display pages, refining the online store, integrating content management tools, or developing features that support marketing campaigns, you’ll ensure every visitor experience is seamless, fast, and reflective our company values of quality and precision.
While not responsible for internal systems or company-wide infrastructure, you will interface with marketing tools, analytics platforms, and business systems like inventory or fulfillment APIs to ensure consistency across digital touchpoints. Familiarity with DevOps principles helps support smooth deployments, automated testing, and efficient updates to the live website.

WHAT WE NEED TO SEE: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred; however, equivalent professional experience may be considered in place of formal education on a year-for-year basis
• 3+ years of experience in full-stack web development, with a strong focus on front-end performance and user experience.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React/Next.js or Vue.js.
• Back-end experience with Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or similar frameworks.
• Experience working with APIs, headless CMS platforms, and cloud-based services.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), build tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Solid understanding of performance optimization, caching, and SEO fundamentals.
• Experience instrumenting and analyzing sites with Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity or Hotjar.
• Experience working within agile or iterative development environments.

WHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE: PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, BigCommerce, or custom solutions).
• Exposure to DevOps tools like Docker, Netlify, or Vercel.
• Experience with workflow automations in n8n, including webhooks that invoke internal and external tools.
• Hands-on experience with headless CMS solutions, preferably Strapi.
• Background working in a product-focused brand or consumer goods company.
• Interest in outdoor products, firearms, or optics
