JOB OVERVIEW:

Cub Inver Grove Heights is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a Full Time Bakery Manager! The Bakery Manager manages the bakery department to promote sales, achieve profit margins, labor goals and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers, and a safe and positive working environment for associates.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Equipment operation (shrink wrap, label machine, bread slicer, knives, bakery racks, etc.)
  • Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
  • Able to work in various temperatures and wet surfaces
  • The position requires ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.
  • Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
  • Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.
  • Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be 18 years of age and older.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
  • Walking on uneven ground
  • Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions
  • Extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces
