EXPERIENCED BAR CHEF – THE CAHERNANE HOUSE HOTEL, KILLARNEY

Join the culinary team at The Cahernane House Hotel, a charming 4-star boutique hotel located just outside Killarney Town. Set in a beautifully restored historic property, our 46-bedroom hotel offers a unique blend of elegance, comfort, and exceptional Irish hospitality.
We are currently seeking a Bar Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team on a full-time basis. There is accommodation available with this role, if required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be legally eligible to work in Ireland
• A good standard of spoken English
• Previous experience cooking bar food in a busy Irish hotel, restaurant, or pub environment

Chefing Skills

• Prepare mise en place and cook dishes for your assigned section to the highest standards, ensuring quality, consistency, and excellent presentation in line with our award-winning reputation.
• Work closely with our talented kitchen brigade and front-of-house team to deliver a seamless, high-quality dining experience — collaboration and team spirit are central to our success.
• Contribute creatively to menu development and daily specials, supporting our culinary philosophy of using fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients.
• Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety, ensuring full compliance with HACCP regulations.
• Receive and store deliveries, manage stock rotation, and maintain organisation within all food storage areas.
