FULL TIME BILINGUAL EARLYON PRACTITIONER

Community Living North Bay is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to fill the position of Full-Time Bilingual EarlyON Practitioner. This position requires collaborating closely with the application entity and reports to the EarlyON Manager. This role is based in North Bay, Ontario.

POSITION SUMMARY

The EarlyON Child and Family Centre’s (CFCs) are places where children and families can learn, grow, and connect. Our planned learning environment will encourage children to become curious as they explore and build on their strengths. We offer a variety of parent-child activities, programs, workshops, information on healthy child development, and community resources. Learn more about EarlyON here: EARLYON - Home (earlyoncfc.org)

Responsibilities
  • You will provide welcoming and inclusive environments where all children and families have access to high quality programs and services influencing positive child, family, and community experiences and outcomes. This will include lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs. at a time.
  • You will engage parents and caregivers in conversations and experiences, sharing information about child development, parenting, nutrition, play, and inquiry-based learning, and other topics that support them in their role as their children’s first teacher.
  • You will respond to parents’ and caregivers’ questions or concerns about child development through conversations and observations, using validated tools and resources, and linking to specialized services; Making connections for families during and beyond the early years.
