Description

We are seeking a full-time bookkeeper to support our diverse client base at KEY Financial Group LLP, a medium sized public accounting, tax planning, and advisory firm. This is a great opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, organized, and eager to develop their skills in a collaborative team and positive work environment. We offer flexibility with hours, benefits and extended weekends during slower summer seasons. There is opportunity for growth and additional training with preparation of personal tax returns and corporate yearend work.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • 5+ years of full cycle bookkeeping experience (strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop & Online), Excel, and Microsoft Office
  • Solid knowledge of payroll processes and government filings
  • Strong numeric and analytical skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to self-manage workload
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in other bookkeeping/accounting software is an asset
  • Willingness to work the necessary hours to meet deadlines

Responsibilities
  • Provide full cycle bookkeeping services for a variety of clients
  • Perform data entry, monthly account reconciliations, and maintain general ledgers
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Process and reconcile payroll, including PD7A remittances
  • Prepare and submit GST, PST, WCB, EHT and other government filings
  • Support in year-end financial preparations
  • Maintain organized records—both digital and physical
  • Assist with interim reporting and other ad hoc accounting support
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with clients
  • Self-manage to meet timelines and filing due dates
