Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping them maintain social interactions.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health or behaviour.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Assist with mobility and transportation needs for clients attending appointments or social activities.
  • Support clients with dementia care by employing appropriate techniques to manage behaviours and enhance communication.
