We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home care environments. SKILLS

• Knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals.
• Experience in medication administration and understanding of proper protocols.
• First aid certification is preferred to ensure immediate response capabilities in emergencies.
• Familiarity with various care settings such as home care, assisted living, nursing homes, and hospice care is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
• Ability to work independently while also being part of a larger caregiving team.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others are essential traits for success in this role.

Work Location: On the roa

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping them maintain social interactions.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health or behaviour.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Assist with mobility and transportation needs for clients attending appointments or social activities.
• Support clients with dementia care by employing appropriate techniques to manage behaviours and enhance communication.
