The UPS Store is a locally owned franchise retail store, under the UPS brand, that offers an environment of positive and customer oriented employees that work together as a team to provide our customers with a welcoming retail experience by receiving and processing packages for shipment, efficiently processing Amazon and other business returns, assisting with printing and copying requests, and providing our array of other related retail services.  We are looking for a candidate to join our team that enjoys working with other team members in a fast paced environment to assure our customer’s needs are met in an efficient, positive and customer friendly manner. The optimal candidate will display an aptitude for greeting customers with a smile and positive welcome, an ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner, and a professional demeanor and appearance. The candidate would also be a fast learner who utilizes training options to quickly grasp all aspects of the business, and ideally has 2 to 5 years of experience in delivery of positive and friendly customer service in previous retail positions.   The pay for this position is $15.00 per hour, plus a monthly incentive bonus based on meeting overall store performance goals.  RESPONSIBILITIES       Welcomes customers to the store with a smile and friendly greeting, identifies customer needs, and provides required services in an efficient and customer friendly manner Maintains a positive environment through good communication skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and Store Management. Takes ownership of customer needs and offers appropriate and viable solutions. Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others Effectively uses training options to learn all product and service offerings, provide applicable alternative solutions, and quickly adapt to changes in processes and procedures  Maintains a clean, organized and safe working environment. Assists other team members in meeting required duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS   Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment Effective verbal and written communication skills   Prompt, reliable, and responsible Ability to lift 40 plus pounds, and work on feet during work shift.
