Under the supervision of a registered professional nurse the Central Sterile technician participates as a member of the Perioperative nursing team. The Central Sterile Technician performs tasks that support clinical operations. The primary focus of this position is receiving sorting inventory, decontamination, and sterilization of surgical items.
