Chef/Fryer job description 30 - 35 hours
The Cod’s Scallops is an award winning fish and chip restaurant with 4 shops around Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire. We offer a wide range of fish and seafood, cooked in a variety of ways (not just battered!) The shop has a take-away counter, as well as a licensed 40-cover restaurant and a delivery service. We serve food all day 6 days a week, in a relaxed, friendly, professional environment.
We are currently looking to add a talented and enthusiastic chef/fryer to our team on Wilford Lane, West Bridgford.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· To be part of the preparation and delivery of fresh fish and seafood, to the highest standards in a fast-paced environment
· Be competent at working independently on your own station
· The ability to work under pressure and consistently every shift
· To adhere to all aspects of Health & Safety and food safety (we have a 5-star Food Hygiene rating and recently gained AA Covid Confident accreditation)
· To maintain a clean and sanitary working environment
· Experience of working in fast-paced kitchens, cooking food to order
