Requirements · Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently over long distances. · Drive routes to deliver freight on time and in excellent condition to designated locations while ensuring compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations. · Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, any incidents that occur during transport. Submit all PODs and BOLs electronically promptly. · Conduct pre-trip, in-route and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and functionality. · Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and support staff regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. · Adhere to all company policies regarding safety protocols and procedures as well as federal/state transportation laws regarding commercial driving.
