American Welding & Gas, Inc. - Has an immediate opportunity for a Class A CDL Delivery Driver at our Wausau, WI. Location. ***** Class A CDL with Hazmat,Tanker & Airbrakes Endorsements Required ***** Duties: * Use company vehicle to deliver products and equipment to customers in a safe and courteous manner. * Pick up returns at customer place of business. * Read, understand, and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). * Comply with all DOT + OSHA Regulations. * Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently. * Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets. * Maintains cleanliness of vehicle. * Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: * High School graduate or equivalent * Class A CDL Required with Hazmat,Tanker & Airbrakes Endorsement * Clean commercial driving record 3+ years * Able to read and write English. * Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.) * Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and company administered road test. * Ability to effectively communicate with customers. * Drug Free work environment Incentives include: * Competitive pay structure * Excellent benefit package: * Medical, Dental, Vision with no waiting period * Company paid Life Insurance * Company paid Short-term & Long-term Disability * 401(k) with Company Match * Paid Holidays and Paid Time Off. * Company cell phone * Employers paid CDL license renewal fees including endorsements and medical card. The delivery driver is responsible for safely transporting and delivering industrial gas products and equipment to customers. They must also manage returns, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and ensure all shipping paperwork is accurate and compliant with DOT and OSHA regulations.
