The Evans County Code Enforcement Office is accepting applications for a full-time Code Investigator.
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess (or be able to do so) a valid driver’s license and a clean
driving record. Be a P.O.S.T. certified officer. Be a certified Code Enforcement Officer or currently
working towards certification through the Georgia Association of Code Enforcement network. Be able
to make decisions based on knowledge and level of expertise in the field of work. Be able to work odd
hours and perform 24-hour on-call duty when needed. Applications will be accepted until the position is
filled and can be obtained and submitted on the Evans County Website and at the Evans County
Commissioners office located at 613 W. Main St. Claxton, Ga. 30417. Evans County is a Drug-free
