Job Description
Swissôtel Sydney, part of Accor’s Premium brands, has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven Commis chef to join our kitchen brigade in a Full Time capacity for breakfast service.

About the role:

  • Food preparation and production to deliver innovative and inspired dishes aimed to exceed customer and guest expectations
  • Ensure food standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques are established and monitored to meet set guidelines
  • Ensure the highest standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained to meet Health & Safety regulations and HACCP food preparation guidelines

Qualifications

About You:

  • The ability to work most effectively in a team environment
  • This is breakfast chef role, required start time is as early as 5:00am in the morning.
  • A fantastic attitude in providing quality work and service
  • Previous experience in à la carte services and have a flair for presentation
  • Quality and portion control
  • Understanding Food Safety industry requirements.
  • Ability to work rotating roster including weekend and Public Holidays
  • Possess full time work right in Australia.
  • Certificate in commercial cookery under qualification.
