As a member of the kitchen staff at Goat Patch Brewing Company's Grazing Goat Kitchen at our Northgate location, you will be responsible for preparing and serving quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient manner. You will help us create a welcoming environment by supporting our food operations with professionalism, teamwork, and a passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Creation and preparation of all food menu items safely while following correct Health Code procedures Maintain a clean and functional workspace Maintain a clean and functional Prep Space Only use equipment with care and precautions, making sure to correctly clean and sanitize after use Communicate effectively with coworkers and management Follow and complete all checklists and duties in place Hold oneself to a high and consistent standard with health and safety at the forefront of all tasks Advocate for GPB including all sales, word of mouth advertisement and information relayed to customers Adhere to company policies and procedures as stated in Handbook Self-motivate during shift and perform activities with respect and pride Responsible for safety and well-being of patrons and self Responsible for accurate tracking and accounting food sales Responsible for respectful and admirable representation of Goat Patch Brewing Company Able to move, lift, and safely handle kitchen equipment and stored goods. Heavy lifting may be required Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age as required by our license Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and customers Must have Food Safety Certification within 14 days of hire date Must be able to work under pressure and handle high volumes, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service, and workmanship Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices Appropriate skills developed to effectively work in a team environment with respectful and equal treatment Capable of multitasking with awareness of customer needs, requests, allergens and general attentiveness Basic math and literacy skills to include comprehension and retention Must be able to stand for extended periods of time Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
