Description Job Overview: We are seeking a Full Time Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. In this role, you will provide technical assistance and support for end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, printers and network issues. This position requires availability for some nights and weekends as needed. Responsibilities: Provide desktop support for Windows/macOS operating systems, software applications, and network connectivity. Troubleshoot hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Assist with system updates, installations, and maintenance. Respond to help desk tickets and provide timely resolutions. Support remote and on-site users with technical issues. Document issues, resolutions, and technical processes. Collaborate with the IT team on projects and improvements. Requirements Requirements: Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. 2–4 years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles. Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and common desktop applications. Experience with Active Directory, remote administration tools, and ticketing systems. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Familiarity with Windows and macOS environments. Working knowledge of networking concepts (Wi-Fi, VPN, TCP/IP). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Preferred Qualifications: IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or similar) are a plus. Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, or remote management tools. Self-motivated with active listening skills. Action oriented hands on self-starter that prefers to be pro active instead of reactive.
Responsibilities
