JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated Daycare Teacher with a level 2 or 3 child care certification to join our team and provide a nurturing and educational environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, classroom management, and early childhood education. The shift for this position is 8am-5pm Monday to Friday (shift could change based on the needs of the center).

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have Level 2 or 3 certification
• Police check (within last 6 months)
• Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles
• Ability to educate and engage young learners effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience:

• Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• First Aid Certification (preferred)
• Police check (preferred)
• Level 2 or 3 Childcare certification (preferred)

• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans
• Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children
• Supervise and interact with children during playtime and activities
• Monitor children’s progress and communicate effectively with parents
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
  More duties such as cleaning, toileting, dressing, etc.
