Trinity School for Children, a well-established early childhood program in Tampa celebrating 26 years, is seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Lead Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. We provide a premier educational experience for children ages infant through Pre-K and value strong family partnerships, community engagement, and teacher development. Shift: Lead Teacher working hours are 7:15am-3:15pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday; Tuesdays 7:15am-3:45pm for staff meetings, training, and/or team meetings. Position Summary: Lead Teachers plan and implement learning experiences that advance the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of children within a safe, healthy learning environment. In this role, you will support the development and daily care of young children in an early childh classroom. Essential Functions: * Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment * Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities * Use positive guidance and developmentally appropriate discipline * Maintain constant supervision and safety of children * Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators * Maintain a clean, organized classroom * Collaborate with colleagues and participate in team meetings and trainings Our Approach to Behavior Support Trinity implements Program Wide Positive Behavior Support (PWPBS) using the Pyramid Model, an evidence-based framework that promotes social-emotional development and prevents challenging behavior in young children.
