FULL-TIME EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT (GRADES 7-12)

J.T. Foster is a 7-12 school with approximately 200 students, located in Nanton, Alberta. We are seeking a Full-Time Education Assistant to support a variety of learners within our school community.
The position would start on August 26th, 2025 and conclude on June 26th, 2026.

The successful candidate;

• Builds strong rapport with students and creates a safe and caring learning environment;
• Works collaboratively as part of a supportive team of professionals;
• Has experience working in the classroom, in small group settings, and in one on one situations;
• Has experience with social emotional learning;
• Understands diverse learning needs (e.g., ADHD, autism, learning disabilities)
• Has the ability to work with students facing mental health needs.

Additionally, SIVA and First Aid training is an asset.
