Additionally, Partner Veterinary has a dedicated Learning and Development Department, to help assistants achieve your professional goals, supported by two veterinary technician specialists (VTS) Heather Carter and Christine Weaver and Kelly Cronin . Partner Veterinary provides Veterinary Assistants with tuition support to an accredited Veterinary Technician program and mentorship to pass the VTNE. To set you up for success from day 1, We gift you a *wellness week of PTO after your first 90 days in your new position! This includes 30-40 hours of extra PTO dependent upon your schedule. What does your day look like at Partner? The Veterinary Assistants emphasis is on tasks related to team and patient care, plus pet family support. Additional daily tasks include patient handling, assisting team members with treatments, maintaining surgical and anesthesia equipment, cleaning and restocking supplies, and accurately entering service charges in the processing database. You will work with unique and varied cases, and you have the resources to enable optimal patient outcomes.
