Description The Inn at Crestwood is looking for a full-time, Executive Chef to provide exceptional food services to guests. The schedule for this role will be Wednesday through Sunday. The Job A typical day for the Executive Chef includes preparing food in accordance with restraint standards while providing exceptional customer service. Job Duties Include: · Plan, develop, coordinate, and implement the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. · Set up equipment and prepare food based on the business forecast?and?catering contracts. · Prepare salads, sandwiches, cold and hot food entrees and other prepared foods according to portion and quality standards specified in recipes. · Possess complete knowledge of menu and recipes, including preparation procedures, plating, garnishment, portions size and presentation and?special handling instructions. · Lead, train, schedule, and supervise culinary staff to ensure consistent food quality and high performance. · Ensure attractive presentation of all food and beverage products. · Assist in ordering, receiving, and storing of all food and beverage related products. · Assist the Food & Beverage Manager and banquet staff with catering events · Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies. · Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces). · Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen team. · Clean up station and take care of leftover food. · Stock inventory appropriately. · Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion. · Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards. · Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers. What would make me successful in this role?
