Performance Driven Workforce (PDW) is now hiring Full-time Experienced Dynamometer Technicians for an automotive Tier 1 supplier. We are seeking hard-working, motivated and dedicated Dynamometer Technicians to join our team. The Experienced Dynamometer Technician is responsible for engine set-up, including instrumentation, monitoring the test while it's running, performing regular engine health checks and removal of the engine after test completion. This Full-time Experienced Dynamometer Technicians position based out of Livonia, MI., and offers AM, PM and overnight shifts! Candidates who meet the requirements for this Full-time Experienced Dynamometer Technician position below are strongly encouraged to apply.   Shift Schedule: * AM day shift: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (Monday – Friday + overtime & weekends as needed) * PM night shift: 4:00 pm – 12:00 am (Monday – Friday + overtime & weekends as needed) * PM overnight shift: 12:00 am – 8:00 am (Monday – Friday + overtime & weekends as needed) * Must be able to work 7 days a week, as needed * Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, as needed   Retirees and veterans are welcome.   Requirements: * Minimum high school diploma or equivalent * 4+ years of automotive mechanical related experience * Must be a self-starter * Must have excellent engine mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills * Must be proficient with computers, including MS Office applications * Must have own tools and a rolling toolbox * Must be willing to learn and able to work overtime and weekends as needed * Must be flexible, eager to learn and have a strong attention to detail * Must have excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and customer service skills   Preferred Skills: * Associate degree or technical training in an automotive related field * Engine teardown/build skills and able to follow an engine assembly manual * Powertrain calibration, diagnostics or controls experience * Able to perform simple fabrications and assemblies * Engine dynamometer controls operation experience or training with AVL PUMA and/or A & D iTest   Benefits: * Overtime when available * No certification required * Veteran friendly employer * We offer medical, dental, vision, and life insurance after your 60 days with Performance Driven Workforce * Opportunity to work with the latest automotive technology Performance Driven Workforce is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
