JOB DESCRIPTION – WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR TO JOIN THE TEAM:

We are looking for a Full-Time Facility Manager for our new Beaumont, Alberta location to join our team. They will be the first point of contact for customers and be responsible for customer service, administration, facility, and yard maintenance. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, organizational and computer skills to help grow our business. They should be comfortable working independently and should take the initiative to inspect the facility and the property to ensure that the buildings, customer property, and facilities are in working order and monitored. Overseeing the property’s maintenance, including snow removal in the winter and landscaping in the summer, and repairs.
The Beaumont location is our newest facility, just finishing up construction; therefore, some training will be held at our Edmonton storage facilities.

CUSTOMER SERVICE, SALES & ADMINISTRATION:

  • Maintain and build positive customer service with clients, vendors, and service providers.
  • Answer the phones, emails, and customer enquiries professionally and courteously.
  • Follow up with clients as needed and direct them to the appropriate department if necessary.
  • Accounts Receivable, collections and invoicing.
  • Taking payment from clients and helping with onsite access.
  • Be creative in supporting customers with their storage and moving solutions.
  • Collaborate with other departments or teams using MS Teams, email, and phone.
  • Moving in and out schedules for storage units, cleaning and maintaining units between clients.
  • Looking for ways to engage with the community to promote and grow business.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient with computers and systems, MS Office, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Being able and willing to learn new systems, as well as tech-savvy, is considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Outstanding Customer Service, building rapport with business partners, vendors and clients.
  • Problem-solving abilities, looking for solutions.
  • Proven ability to work independently and take the initiative.
  • Property maintenance experience is considered an asset.
  • Ability to multitask, organize and prioritize work requirements.
  • Optimistic and positive attitude.
  • Takes the initiative.
    Work Schedule: Tues - Saturday
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
