Description We are looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Grooming Receptionist to join our Goodyear team full-time. This position is the first impression of our grooming department and plays a key role in ensuring both pets and their owners have a smooth, positive experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident multitasking, is experienced with POS systems, is comfortable with technology, understands setting appointments efficiently, and has a basic understanding of the grooming world. They can also professionally handle all types of customer interactions. Requirements Key Responsibilities Greet customers and their pets in a warm and professional manner Schedule and manage grooming appointments accurately Answer incoming calls with proper phone etiquette Check pets in and out, confirming services and special requests Process payments and retail sales using the POS system Maintain accurate customer records and ensure receipts are sent correctly Communicate clearly with groomers regarding scheduling and client notes Manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Handle customer concerns calmly and professionally Keep the reception area clean and organized Qualifications / Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience booking grooming appointments Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred Experience working with POS systems required Comfortable and proficient with technology Understands appointment scheduling and grooming service needs Strong multitasking and organizational skills Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities Ability to work with a wide range of customer personalities Comfortable working around dogs of all breeds and sizes Detail-oriented, reliable, and solution-focused Ability to stay calm under pressure Schedule Requirements Full-time availability required Must be available to work weekends Ability to handle busy grooming peak times
