Age Requirements: Must be 18+ Additional Requirements: Must have availability for AM and PM shifts including weekends and holidays.    Role Summary: The Lead Steward role is to supervise the day-to-day operation of the department for a given shift. The Lead Steward is responsible for the control and distribution of operating equipment, maintenance of cleaning and sanitation standards, supervision of all utility, pot washer, dishwasher, and worker assignment tasks. This is a working supervisory position. Responsibilities:   1. Implement the Standard Operating Procedures for the Stewarding department with guidance from Chefs 2. Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulation and hotel requirement. 3. Meet with Executive Chef/ Banquet Chefs to review assignments, anticipated business levels, changes, and other information pertinent to the operation. 4. Develop a cleaning schedule for kitchen, pastry, garde manger, banquets, cafeteria, and coolers. 5. Continue to keep all special event storerooms clean and organized 6. Responsible for the requisition of all products utilized in the stewarding area 7. Stocking all storage areas when shipments are received. 8. Inspect the cleanliness and working condition of all tools, equipment, and supplies, ensure everything complies with standards. 9. Quarterly inventory of china, glasses, silverware and hollowware from the outlets and main storage. 10. Establish and maintain accurate par levels of china, glass silver inventory. 11. Provide enough equipment (china, glass, silver) to the outlets and banquet for their operation. 12. Requisition and organization of chemical supplies 13. Assist and provide equipment for all banquets functions. 14. Assist banquet kitchen team with plate up, when necessary. 15. Provide supervisory guidance and assistance to all colleagues in the Stewarding Department 16. Work with the Executive Chef/ Banquet Chef on weekly schedule for stewarding staff 17. Responsible for the cleanliness of the back dock, employee entrance and first floor hallway area. 18. Revise standard and procedures for the department, as necessary with approval of Executive Chef/ Banquet Chefs 19. Create a safe and secure environment for all guests and colleagues. 20. Assist anywhere else in the F&B department to ensure effortless guest experiences and continuity in service 21. Report to work in proper uniform and ensure Stewarding department is in proper uniform as well 22. Covers shifts as needed according to business levels and budget restriction 23. High school diploma or equivalent education.   Experience: 1. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a luxury market. 2. 1- 2 years’ experience in supervisory skills. 3. Speak fluent of English, read, and write. 4. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks. 5. Must be able to relate to all levels of management. 6. Must be self-motivator and motivate others. 7. Must work in a safe, prudent, and organized manner. 8. Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time. 9. Must have superior organizational skills. 10. Must have mathematical skills, Computer software aptitude and some hotel operations. . Physical Requirements: 1. Must be able to walk and stand for up to 8 hours a day, with or without reasonable accommodation. 2. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. 3.
