JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a motivated, friendly Full-Time Hotel Front Desk agent to be responsible for welcoming guests, managing online and telephone bookings, and verifying guests’ payment methods during check-in. You must be available to work weekends and varying weekdays. You should have a pleasant and professional disposition and create a space where people feel welcome and warmly cared for. To be successful as a hotel front desk agent, you should have excellent customer service skills, be legally entitled to work in Canada and be a team player.

Responsibilities
  • Checking guests in and out.
  • Receiving and managing reservations made online and by telephone.
  • Verifying guests’ payment methods during check-in.
  • Diligently follows operational standards policy and procedures.
  • Assigning rooms to guests and informing them of any specials offered by the hotel.
  • Organizing transport services for guests at their request.
  • Providing guests with information about the hotel and the city.
  • Serving as a host for meeting rooms and ensuring that all relevant preparations are made for the event.
  • Resolving guest issues regarding hotel services, amenities, and policies.
  • Administrative duties, balancing shift transactions and accurate data entry.
  • Elevating the customer and employee experience.
  • Communicating and coordinating with General Manager and other departments.
