REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for applicants who are:

• Fluent in written and spoken English , with a strong grasp of English literature and academic writing
• Passionate about education and student mentorship
• Confident teaching both individual and group classes
• Highly organised and able to create high-quality, digitised teaching resources
• Committed to teaching in-person in Singapore

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience teaching IB, IGCSE, or MYP English
• Fresh IB or A-Level graduates with exceptional English results are welcome to apply

As a Full-Time English Tutor at QE, you will:

• Teach IGCSE, IB (SL/HL), and/or MYP English Language & Literature in small group and 1-on-1 settings
• Provide guidance on syllabus coverage, essay writing, comprehension, oral presentations, and exam techniques
• Conduct timed practices, mock assessments , and deliver targeted feedback
• Create engaging and effective lesson materials tailored to individual student needs
• Track student progress and communicate regularly with parents or the academic team
• Contribute to curriculum development and resource building
