JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Infant Child Minders to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about nurturing and supporting the growth of infants and toddlers in a home-based setting. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: Previous experience in infant care, early childhood development, or babysitting for infants and toddlers.
  • Passion: A genuine love for nurturing infants and a commitment to their early growth and development.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate warmly and effectively with both infants and their families.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage routines, plan activities, and adapt to infants’ changing needs.
  • Certifications: Current First Aid and infant CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Medical clearance to work with young children.
  • Personal Qualities: Patience, empathy, flexibility, and attentiveness to each child’s unique needs.
  • Background Check: Willingness to undergo a thorough background check.
  • Early Development Skills: Familiarity with infant development milestones and age-appropriate sensory and motor activities.
Responsibilities
  • Managing daily caregiving routines and transitions.
  • Preparing and feeding milk; assisting with weaning when appropriate.
  • Diaper changing and toileting.
  • Bathing, dressing, and other hygiene routines.
  • Organizing napping and sleeping arrangements, including SIDS prevention.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment for infants.
  • Handling and preventing minor injuries.
  • Incorporating developmental activities and routines as needed.
