    An excellent opportunity to step up into a Medical Receptionist role within a private specialist practice. Prior experience in a specialist medical setting is not essential – backgrounds in GP or Allied Health are highly valued, alongside strong customer service skills and experience.
    As the first point of contact, you’ll play a key role in welcoming patients and ensuring a smooth, efficient flow through the practice. Our mission is to ensure all patients feel valued, heard, and like the most important person in our care. Therefore, your role is to approach our patients with genuine empathy, kindness, professionalism (verbal, written and presentation). Which is second nature to you.
    Our practice is seeking a seasoned customer service expert to report and work directly with our Surgeon, Practice Manager and outstanding Allied Health team. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving environment and understand the importance of adhering to processes and procedures to ensure the practice operates seamlessly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
  • Welcoming patients into the practice in an efficient, friendly and courteous manner
  • Delivering exceptional customer service at all times
  • Scheduling and managing patient appointments and assisting with consultation sessions including invoicing and receipting and uploading relevant reports/scans
  • Collecting and entering patient details
  • Answering phone calls and enquiries in a timely, professional and friendly manner
  • Performing general administrative duties and ad-hoc duties as required for the Surgeon and the Practice Manager
  • Covering our Practice Manager’s leave (notice and training will be given)
    Ongoing professional development will be encouraged, and you will have the pleasure of working with and supporting highly regarded and professional Orthopaedic Surgeons and Associates, including Physiotherapists, who are recognised leaders in their field.
    Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am till 5:00pm
    Friday 8:30am till 4:00pm
    Pay rate: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour plus super
    Please note, the hourly rate for the successful candidate will be contingent upon factors such as relevant experience, required upskilling and any necessary training. The listed rate is intended as a general guide and may be adjusted in accordance with these criteria
