JOB SUMMARY

We are looking to recruit a permanent full time kitchen porter/ assistant here at the Lysander Arms. Its important to us to employ a dedicated, conscientious & motivated person to help with the smooth running of the kitchen, if there’s no clean pots and pans nothing gets cooked! So you are as important as the chefs!

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

We would like you to have previous experience & skills required are:

• Physical fitness
• Ability to work quickly & effectively
• Ability to follow instructions
• Communication

• Collect & wash pots & pans
• Clean food preparation area & equipment
• Unload & check deliveries
• Keep store areas organised & tidy
• Keep work surfaces, walls & floors clean & sanitised
• Assisting chefs in food preparation
• Keeping daily cleaning schedules records up to date
• General cleaning of kitchen to high standard to maintain our 5 * hygiene ratin
