Job Title: Lead Caregiver Reports To: Field Care Manager Position Summary: The Lead Caregiver serves as a key support role within the field operations team. This position is responsible for providing supervisory visits, mentoring caregivers, ensuring quality care in client homes, and assisting with coverage of open shifts as needed. The Lead Caregiver will travel within assigned service locations to support caregivers and clients, while also participating in a rotating on-call schedule. Primary Responsibilities: Conduct supervisory and quality assurance visits in client homes. Observe and evaluate caregiver performance, providing feedback and coaching to ensure compliance with company standards. Complete documentation and submit reports from supervisory visits in a timely manner. Assist with covering open shifts or last-minute call-offs as assigned. Maintain communication with the Field Care Manager regarding client or caregiver concerns. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support after-hours needs. Support caregiver training, mentoring, and orientation as directed. Promote a positive, professional, and team-focused work environment. Ensure all client care follows the established service plan and company policies. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year experience as a professional caregiver or similar healthcare role. Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel within assigned service locations. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage time effectively and work independently. Must be flexible and reliable with the ability to adapt to changing schedules and needs. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and participate in on-call rotation. Must provide at least one professional reference.
