Description
  As a Lead Retail Sales Associate you’ll model exceptional service, showcase our merchandise, and help guests appreciate our musical legacy. You’ll provide frontline sales associates with in-the-moment support, including merchandise returns, cash management needs, and guest service escalations. Our retail locations range from traditional gift shop environments to live performance venues. You’ll have fun sharing your passion for music heritage with engaging and memorable guest experiences!     * Lead daily operations. Ensure exceptional guest service, manage opening/closing procedures, assign staff tasks and breaks, and support guest service roles as needed. * Provide confident and friendly directional guidance to guests. Share your interest in upcoming events in our venues. Share guest feedback with management. * Model sales and service programs as directed. Use product knowledge to actively sell and upsell based on guest interest. Achieve goals to increase average transaction value, units per transaction goals, and conversion. * Guide team in merchandising. Keep sales floor full and visually appealing. Ensure apparel remains folded and sized appropriately. Follow defined brand standard operating procedures (SOPs). * Process sales transactions using point-of-sale (POS) system and appropriate cash handling procedures. Lead defined check-in/check-out procedures. * Process daily shipments. Receive and unload boxes from truck to storeroom and sales floor according to defined procedures. Inspect shipments for errors or damage, document issues, and sign invoices. Relay inventory concerns to management. * Ensure order and cleanliness of sales floor and stockroom areas. Dust displays, sweep floors, empty trash bins, clean windows, etc. as needed. * Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures. Report equipment malfunction, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management immediately. * Communicate and uphold all corporate standards, policies, and procedures in accordance with local, state and federal laws and regulations. Follow and support brand SOPs. * Collaborate with tour guides in our historic venues to create souvenir photos. Process photos for immediate display and sale. * Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education * High school diploma or equivalent required Experience  * 1+ years' experience in guest service, sales, and/or cash handling required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities  * Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills required * Outgoing personality and an aptitude for sales * Basic mathematical aptitude for cash handling and transaction processing * Able to work during peak times, including weekends and holidays, to support business needs
