Asbury Grace Park (Stroudsburg, PA) Personal Care Home Licensed for 92 Beds Secured Memory Care Unit Job Description We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Full-Time LPN to join our staff. In this role you will provide professional care to residents through the proper administration of prescribed medications and treatments. We offer a competitive benefits package and a generous starting salary of $34.00 per hour. The schedule includes some weekends and holidays as needed. Essential Duties Assigns and directs the workflow for Personal Care Aides and Med Techs based on resident needs and available staff. Administers medication and assists with resident care. Monitors resident medications, treatment cart and medication room to ensure that expired medications are properly disposed of and narcotics are counted per policy and regulations. Ensures compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and HIPAA regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment for residents and staff. Effectively communicates with health care providers, community agencies and families. Works to develop and maintain appropriate professional relationships. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited school with a current, valid nursing license in the state of Pennsylvania Licensure/Certification Current LPN license in good standing Experience Experience working in geriatric, long-term or home care nursing strongly preferred Experience with Alzheimer's disease and other memory impairments is a plus Important Note: A comprehensive pre-employment background check is mandatory and will be conducted prior to employment.
