REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Clean driver’s abstract
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a small team
  • Professional, courteous demeanor
  • Comfortable using smartphones and apps for work documentation

VALUABLE EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Drywall taping, mudding, caulking
  • Painting and carpentry
  • Deck and fence repairs
  • Installing and adjusting doors, trim, and locks
  • Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge
  • HVAC troubleshooting (basic knowledge)
  • Flooring installations (e.g., click flooring) an asset
  • Appliance troubleshooting
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
  • Report writing with supporting photos
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Framing and general construction experience
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Maintenance & Repair Technician, you’ll complete a wide range of maintenance tasks across multiple sites in the Tri-Cities area. You’ll also be integrated into our rotating on-call schedule for after-hours support once trained.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete assigned work orders promptly and to a high standard
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with tenants, co-workers, and subcontractors
  • Use our mobile field service app and email to manage tasks and updates
  • Safely handle keys and FOBs to access properties
  • Identify and report issues that require escalation to a specialized trade
  • Follow all safety protocols, including PPE use where necessary
  • Troubleshoot general maintenance issues, including leaks, heating/cooling, and appliance malfunctions
  • Drive the company vehicle responsibly to and from job sites
