Description

American Welding & Gas Inc, has an immediate opening for a Material Handler at our facility in Indianapolis, IN! This position is responsible for efficiently loading and unloading products for customers and internal branches on a daily basis, while ensuring accurate tracking of materials as they enter and exit the facility. Duties & Responsibilities: * Transfer cylinders and cylinder bundles onto pallets for storage or delivery. * Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move materials. * Load and unload cylinder transfers onto trucks and trailers, following provided load lists. * Organize and manage full and empty assets on-site to ensure optimal storage and access. * Perform extensive outdoor work in various weather conditions, handling materials as required. * Utilize mobile phone-based equipment to accurately track the movement of assets into and out of the facility. * Other duties assigned. Qualifications & Education Requirements: * High School graduate or GED equivalent. * Able to read and write English. * Mechanically inclined. * Technical skills. * Computer skills.
