Responsibilities: * Teaching assignment may include day, evening, weekend, and/or online courses. * Teaching assignment may include a full range of undergraduate courses such as Math for Everyday Life, Intermediate Algebra, Plane Trigonometry, Foundations of Math, Introduction to Statistics, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I, II, & III, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations. * Maintaining scheduled office hours, advising students, developing curriculum, participating in college service, and professional development activities. * Leadership in developing and improving our academic courses. Community service is encouraged. Supervision Received: Reports to the Chief Academic Officer. Minimum Requirements: * Master’s degree or higher required in Math or a related field. * All academic degrees must be from a regionally accredited college or university. * Ability to maintain good relationships with students, staff, and community members. Preferred Qualifications: * Teaching experience at the community college level. * Experience and/or interest in using multimedia/new instructional technology in the classroom. * Experience and interest in utilizing Learning Management Systems for course enhancement or delivery.
