JOB LOCATION(S): Long Island, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens
A-Line Greetings is seeking a reliable, self-motivated, high energy Account Manager to join our team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Account Manager serves as the primary contact between A-Line management and store owners. In this role, the Account Manager is responsible for building customer relationships while increasing business by selling and ordering products for a defined customer base within an assigned territory.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of general work experience required
  • 1+ years of relevant sales experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Proficient computer application skills
  • Valid driver’s license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines
  • Must own a reliable vehicle
  • Must be willing to travel within area (some overnight travel)

Responsibilities
  • Educate and excite customers about our greeting card programs
  • Analyze customer needs and business trends to help grow both their profitability and our own business
  • Make incremental sales by placing additional products or programs in designated stores
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels, company assets, promotional ad signage (point of sale) and displays
  • Ensure each account meets defined merchandising standards, determine stores’ product needs and transmit appropriate replenishment orders
  • Communicate and collaborate account activities to appropriate management
  • Utilize sales force automation tools
  • Work with customers to resolve A/R issues
  • Periodic lifting of 50+ pounds, bending, reaching, kneeling and light merchandising
