We are dedicated to inspiring students of all ages through personalised, high-quality instruction, offering one-on-one music tutoring as well as group lessons, helping students achieve their personal and professional goals in music performance, theory, and examination preparation.

Offering our teaching services in both Sydney and Adelaide we are seeking to expand our services and require an experienced music teacher, willing to commit to a full-time role to join our team. With a long waiting list of eager students in Adelaide, this is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to make a lasting impact.
The successful candidate must be able to teach both piano and guitar, or piano and drums, however experience in teaching additional instruments, including vocals would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

The role will include:

  • Preparing lessons, both practical and theory, tailored to the ability of each student and their talent
  • revising teaching programs, identifying suitable course materials and methods of instruction
  • Offer encouragement, provide constructive feedback, and offer suggestions for improvement
  • Offer tips for practice and provide examples of how a piece should be performed by demonstrating through performance
  • Preparing students for AMEB or other music examinations/ competitions if required
  • Preparing students for performances and assessments
  • Coordinating and supervising band practices
  • participate in professional development opportunities involving methodology of teaching music
  • organising excursions and tours for students to live performances for the purpose of motivating and inspiring them
  • organising concerts and performances of students’ work for their families and the general public
