Description St Pius X High School, serving students in grades nine through twelve, is a Catholic, college preparatory school providing a quality education by embracing academic excellence and promoting social and spiritual growth. Custodian (Full-time, 12-month, hourly employee) Evening Shift Available (1pm to 9pm, or 2pm to 10pm) The custodial/maintenance staff reports directly to the Principal, Bob Lee. The custodial staff is responsible for the following duties: general and emergency maintenance and cleaning securing the building at the end of each day after activities have finished obtaining the necessary supplies for cleaning and maintaining the building perform daily visual inspections of the entire school property and clean and maintain as needed informing the maintenance supervisor of major and minor repairs needed in the building performing work to be done as a result of work orders requested by the president, principal or assistant principal maintain the overall outside appearance of the school property removing all graffiti immediately, and reporting incidents of graffiti to the principal or assistant principal reporting all vandalism as soon as possible to the maintenance supervisor snow removal as necessary perform a visual inspection of the work done by the evening custodial crew and report any concerns to the maintenance supervisor Requirements 2+ Years experience preferred, but not required Trained in Protecting God's Children, or willing to be trained Practicing Catholic in good standing is preferred, but not required St Pius X High School offers a comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental and vision plans, STD/LTD fully paid by the employer, retirement plans including a 403b plan and a defined benefit pension plan. Responsibilities
