Description Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg, a 5-Star rated Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA is seeking an LPN / RN Medication Nurse to join our team! Full-time, night shift (7P-7A) position available with a complete benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, 403B with match, and more. Prepares, administers, and records prescribed medications as administered. Records all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in a timely manner. Administers medications, treatments, IV's, catheters, and obtains blood samples as necessary. Evaluates nursing care with emphasis on medication administration, prescribed treatments, and patient responses; consults with supervisory nurse in the establishment of short-term and long-range goals for patients. Reports adverse reactions of medications and/or treatments in accordance with facility policies and procedures. Provides bedside care for a wide variety of patients. Participates in discharge planning as needed. Requirements A valid unencumbered Virginia LPN OR RN license is required Two to three years of experience working in a skilled setting preferred Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg is committed to best practices for infection control; therefore, we require all team members to receive the influenza vaccine and recommend COVID-19 vaccines.
Responsibilities
