Description

We are looking for a polite, professional, enthusiastic team member with a can do attitude and good communication skills who has an ability to multi task and prioritise their workload under pressure when required.
The role is an office based position which will support the organising and completion of interior design projects throughout the country and worldwide.
Accuracy and attention to detail as well as methodical, efficient organisational skills are key in all areas. A positive attitude and willingness to learn and take direction are essential as well as a good work ethic.
The job does not offer progression to a more senior role, so we welcome applicants who would like long term employment in a secure job that is varied and detail oriented – please note this is an administrative role where some tasks will be laborious, so you need to be able concentrate on getting the details right to make sure everything runs smoothly. In time you would become involved in visits to smaller local projects, but the job is office based in nature. You need to be self-sufficient, and have personal motivation, with requirement for lone working.

Day to day task would include:

  • Liaising with suppliers and clients by email, WhatsApp and telephone. Grammatically correct & polite comms essential
  • Data entry into our computer system & management of that system (Esti), training supplied.
  • Ordering and Invoicing using the computer system (Esti), training supplied
  • Monitoring & managing deliveries, training supplied
  • Use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook experience essential)
  • Sample management, ordering & pricing, training supplied
  • End of month preparation for book keeper, training supplied
  • Arranging courier collections & deliveries or Post Office drop offs.
  • General office management tasks not limited to: keeping the office tidy & accepting deliveries. Can do attitude essential

The position is a 40 hours a week, 9-5 position with a half hour paid lunch break and street parking available. It is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for something more varied & challenging than an average office admin role but this also means it is more demanding.
