Frances M. Maguire College of Nursing and Health Professions Full-Time, Open Rank Undergraduate Nursing Faculty Positions (3 Positions)   The Frances M. Maguire College of Nursing and Health Professions at Gwynedd Mercy University invites highly experienced, motivated, and mission-driven candidates to apply for three (3) full-time undergraduate nursing faculty positions. These 12-month appointments begin in July 2026 and may be tenure-track or non-tenure-track based on qualifications. Faculty will contribute to a dynamic and growing BSN program, with opportunities to teach at the graduate level depending on expertise and program needs. Rank and salary are competitive and commensurate with academic preparation and teaching experience. We welcome candidates from all clinical backgrounds and specialties, including but not limited to medical-surgical nursing, pharmacology, pediatrics, obstetrics, community health, simulation, and nursing research. Faculty with strong foundations in nursing education and a passion for student success are especially encouraged to apply. Responsibilities The successful candidate will work closely with the Prelicensure BSN Program Director and the nursing faculty team to support excellence in undergraduate nursing education. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Teaching undergraduate courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online formats, with potential opportunities/needs to teach graduate-level courses. * Providing in-class and out-of-class academic support to promote student success and progression. * Advising undergraduate students and contributing to a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. * Engaging in scholarly activities consistent with rank (e.g., presentations, publications, research). * Participating in college and university committees, curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation efforts. * Supporting admissions, recruitment, and community engagement events. * Demonstrating commitment to evidence-based practice, experiential learning, and inclusive pedagogies. Qualifications * Doctoral degree in Nursing or a doctoral degree in a related field with a minimum of a Master’s degree in Nursing. * Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (or eligibility for licensure). * Evidence of effective teaching in clinical and/or classroom settings; higher education experience preferred. * Demonstrated clinical expertise in one or more specialty areas (e.g., medical-surgical, pharmacology, pediatrics, obstetrics, community health, simulation). * Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a student-centered environment. * Commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, service, and advancing the mission of Gwynedd Mercy University.   Application Process:  To apply, please complete and submit an application through the Gwynedd Mercy University careers webpage at www.gmercyu.edu/careers [http://www.gmercyu.edu/careers].
