CARLTON EYELAB IS SEEKING A HIGHLY SKILLED OPTICAL DISPENSER ~ BOUTIQUE EYEWEAR

A rare opportunity for an experienced Optical Dispenser with an eye for detail and high level customer service experience.
Our independent, design-driven business requires an engaging person with very high level optical dispensing knowledge, excellent customer relation skills and experience. This role requires exemplary optical repair and retail skills, Saturday availability, and pride in presentation.
Qualified Opticians interested in design, bespoke goods and hospitality are a great fit for our Lygon Street location. You will be working with a like-minded team of individuals, and share all daily tasks for the smooth day to day operation; from store cleaning to managing international trading partner relationships. Detailed lens selection skills using Optical calculation charts and equipment such as focimeters are key skills for this position.
We aim to find someone comfortable in their own skin, interested in people and unique high-quality eyewear to join our relaxed and cheerful workplace. Two kilometers from Melbourne’s CBD, a short walk through gorgeous Carlton Gardens, we are located in a bustling cultural hub of Universities and Hospitals surrounded by excellent cafes and restaurants.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Can demonstrate high level Optical experience
• High level English, additional languages an advantage.
• Ability to build rapport quickly
• Ability to train staff
• Ability to lead staff
  Full time annual salary $70,000.00 - $79,000.00
