SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the home décor or related industry however not required, training is provided
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work full days Monday - Friday 9:00- 5:30 and Saturday 9:00 - 5:00
  • Valid driver’s license (full license)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software systems quickly
  • Enabling positivity in the tougher customer conversations
  • Passion for Interior Design
    Company provided vehicle for use for all in-house measure and quote requirements.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

dollar curtains + blinds are seeking Full-Time & Part-Time Interior Consultants to join our team. As Interior Consultant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and generating sales for our range of window furnishings, both on-the-road in customers homes and instore.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attend to in-home measure & quote consultations; consulting with customers on products they’re after and quoting on site.
  • Guide customers through the sales process, offering expert advice and product knowledge.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers visiting our showroom or via phone/email.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Generate new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with our installation team to ensure a smooth and efficient installation process for our customers.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and product knowledge to better serve our customers.
