Description

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree (for Research Assistant) or an Associate degree or a Higher Diploma (for Junior Research Assistant) in Biomedical, Life Sciences, Medical Laboratory Science, or related disciplines; (ii) a detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and compliance; and (iii) good laboratory skills and the ability to work independently. Experience in cell biology, molecular biology-based laboratory techniques are preferred. Hands-on experience in tissue culture or cell culture techniques are advantages. Duties include (a) handling and processing human biological samples for research cases; (b) undertaking laboratory operations including reagent preparation, consumables management and quality control; (c) performing specimen storage, shipping, log management and data entry; and (d) performing other duties assigned by investigators. Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year commencing January 2026, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
