FULL-TIME CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE/MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST

  • Must have a passion for patient care with minimum 1 year customer service experience and management experience would be considered an asset.
    Athlete’s Care is a multi-disciplinary sports medicine company with 20 locations in the Greater Toronto Area and 3 locations in Ottawa. We are currently hiring a Full-Time Patient Experience Coordinator for our King & Yonge location.

Responsibilities

Performing daily, weekly, and bi-weekly duties including, but are not limited to:
1. Physician Productivity/Reimbursement Reports
2. No Future Appointment Reports
3. Weekly Accounts Receivables Reporting and Follow up on Collections Status
4. Performing or overseeing inventory levels and purchasing of office, therapy, and physician supplies
5. Overseeing physician and therapist schedules to ensure correct scheduling and to ensure maximum utilization (i.e. ensure that schedules are always full)
6. Overseeing clinic cleanliness to ensure the clinic is always maintained in a clean, hygienic, and presentable manner
7. Assisting with training of newly hired administrative employees
8. Overseeing the physical state of the clinic and submitting necessary requests for repair and maintenance (e.g. floor cleaning, painting, touch-ups, equipment repair, etc.)
9. Assisting other clinics during shortages; including but not limited to: coverage needs, overseeing calls, voicemails, billing, collections, etc.
10. Ensuring that all administrative shifts are covered, and leading regularly scheduled staff meetings clinic team members
11. Incoming and Outgoing Referrals, Fax handling, Callbacks
12. Scanning of appropriate reports into patient’s files
13. Booking patient appointments, taking payment, and handling various patient, physician, and practitioner inquiries
14. Overseeing administrative staff responsibilities
15. Assisting Physician and Therapist staff throughout their clinic’s schedules
16. Ensuring all direct billing is completed in a time manner and all payments are reconciled
17. Comply with Employee Handbook
18. Assisting with the implementation of new initiatives
19. Incoming and Outgoing Calls & Use of Callhero
20. Plan of Care surveys are provided, monitored, and completed
21. New Patient Registration is being updated, monitored, and completed
