Hudson Valley Cerebral Palsy Association (HVCPA) serves members of the community, including those experiencing disabilities or those who may not have the means to secure quality health care or support services. The agency programs include residential, clinical, and advocacy services, as well as adult day programs and early childhood programs.
Hudson Valley Cerebral Palsy Association is currently hiring for a Personal Care Aide (PCA) at our residential location in Brewster, NY to assist individuals with traumatic brain injuries.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Certification is preferred although we will pay for PCA training, competencies, and certification!

CAREGIVING EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED

Compassion for patients and passion for working with vulnerable patient populations.
Preferred shift is 6am - 2pm

• Assist with personal care needs for clients (dressing, bathing, etc.).
• Provide or assist in routine house cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry.
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes to medical personnel.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
