Responsibilities Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently to patients. Provide expert advice to patients regarding the proper use, side effects, and interactions of medications. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient-specific medication plans. Monitor patient health and progress to ensure the effectiveness of prescribed therapies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new medications, industry trends, and legal regulations. Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations in daily operations. Manage inventory and order pharmaceutical supplies to maintain adequate stock levels. Educate patients about disease prevention, wellness, and lifestyle choices to enhance overall health. Valid pharmacist license in accordance with state and federal regulations. Degree in Pharmacy (BPharm or PharmD) from an accredited institution. Proven experience as a licensed pharmacist in a retail or hospital setting. Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug therapies, and medication safety protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively counsel patients and collaborate with healthcare teams. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
